After seeing a Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair company vehicle, Falcon Children's Home and Family Services in Falcon, NC decided to give us a call. When setting an appointment, it was noted that there was great concern for the children's safety due to uneven and cracked sidewalks. A no cost, no obligation sidewalk repair consultation and quote was scheduled with one of our concrete repair specialists to assess the problem right away.
Once the inspection was complete, the inspector was confident that Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair could solve their sidewalk problems for good. After explaining the products and our installation process, Falcon Children's Home property manager was eager to see the final results. To solve the problem for good, our production crew used a PolyLevel Injection System & NexusPro Sealant Solution to lift, stabilize, and repair the sidewalk cracks.
The NexusPro solution is installed by a highly trained crew that specializes in concrete repair and protection. First, the cracks are drilled, smoothed and prepared with non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted in the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. And, of course, sealed concrete cracks mean no unsightly weeds growing through.
PolyLevel uses a high-density polyurethane foam to fill voids and stabilize and lift sinking concrete slabs. The expanding properties of the two-part urethane formula allows for accurate leveling of the slab. The result is a waterproof repair that's much more permanent than mudjacking and other common concrete repair methods.
When a home that was up for sale was having crawl space problems, a real-estate business owner contacted us for assistance. An inspection and estimate for crawl space repair were scheduled with Travis to provide a custom solution that would solve the problem.
Travis discovered the crawl space had been previously encapsulated, but the materials were rotting and damp, a vapor barrier had ripped, and the ceiling insulation fell to the ground. Aside from the visible damage, moisture also caused the floors to sag above the crawl space. To solve the problem, our crew safely removed and disposed of wet debris. They sealed the vents and rim joists, sprayed a mold treatment throughout the space, insulated the walls and floor, installed a vapor barrier system throughout the crawl space, and installed a durable and rot resistant crawl space door. A crawl space support beam and support jacks were installed to stabilize and level the floor above. To ensure a healthy air quality, a crawl space dehumidification system was also installed.
In order to get rid of the high levels of moisture and humidity in this customer's crawl space, we installed the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier and encapsulated it with CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier is highly effective in removing excess moisture from the crawl space, preventing the growth of mold and mildew. Its powerful filtration system also helps to improve air quality by removing dust, allergens, and other contaminants. Additionally, the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier acts as a protective barrier, preventing moisture from seeping into the crawl space and causing further damage.
