Mr. Parker contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair with concerns about a small dip in his floor between the kitchen and laundry room.
Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair scheduled for one of our design specialists, Mr. Andy to go out and do an inspection of the floors and crawl space.
After speaking with Mr. Parker and showing him what was found during the inspection, Mr. Andy proposed Smart Jacks to stabilize the floors and CleanSpace Liner to control the moisture as the best solution for his home.
Our crew lead by EJ, went in and installed the Smart Jack in their proper place and put down the CleanSpace Liner.

Charles has had his crawlspace flood twice before in hurricanes and it is 2.5 - 3 ft tall. This is a huge house that is right in front of the Trent River and during Florence, water came up the banks and into the actual home itself. They had contractors replace some joists and a lot of subfloor and spray for mold, but the problem was that the vents were sealed and there wasn't a working dehumidifier in place to allow air flow so mold has returned. More than anything else, Charles is concerned with the mold and wants it gone. It is not really caked up on the wood, but there are definite mold spots and he is worried about that more than anything else. We are also doing a CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System, installing EZ Flow on the back side only, and sealing both porch openings. There is no insulation to remove.
