Home owner contacted our office concerned with standing water issues in the crawlspace. Upon our inspection we noticed that the home owner had a vapor barrier laid, but needed a waterproofing system to help divert water to the outside of the home. Mr. Anthony Futrell and his foundation view installed our EZ Flow system with sump pump to help pump water out of the crawlspace during heavy rains. Home owner are happy with the results and no longer have to worry about standing water in the crawlspace causing mold and wood rot in the future. 

Customer called saying there floor was sagging. We sent our inspector Patrick Hannigan out to look at the Crawlspace to see if the house was just settling or if there was something going on with the wood. Patrick told the home owners that they needed some smart jacks to help support the home because it had settled. Anthony and his crew went out to the home and installed 3 smart jacks the customer was very pleased with the work.

Home owner called complaining about a Foundation wall failure on the below grade wall of a walk-out basement. Our inspector Patrick Hannigan went out to inspect this basement. Patrick recommended that they have wall anchors installed. Anthony and his crew went out and installed the wall anchors and the homeowner was pleased with the work.

Sandra S. of Sanford noticed a musty smell coming from her crawl space. After searching the web she found Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair and called to get an expert opinion. We sent one of our expert System Design Specialists to her home for a free inspection. 

Upon checking the crawl space, our System Design Specialist was able to show Sandra exactly what was causing that musty odors along with a few other issues. The wood moisture content was way too high, which caused extensive wood rot and disintegrated framing members.  The high moisture caused damage to her floor joists and made the insulation fall onto the dirt ground. The musty odors were a result of high humidity levels that were wreaking havoc in the crawl space.
