Matthew contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair having flooring issues and thought that the flooring issues where caused by high moisture levels in the crawl space of the home. Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair inspector RJ Bailey met with Matthew and his wife Ana no find out what was causing the issues with the home. RJ found that the crawl space of the home did have high moisture levels in the crawl space and the wood of the crawl space was saturated with water causing problems with how to floors sat in the home. Our crew lead by Ricky Warren installed our CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System, which gets rid of moisture and high humidity in the crawl space. Matthew was happy that he went with Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair for all of his crawl space needs.

Exterior Cracks Fixed with Push Piers in Grifton, NC

George contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair because he had noticed exterior cracks around the garage area of his mother's home in Grifton, NC.  Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair inspector Ben Daniels met with George to go over the home to find out why the home was experiencing cracks. Ben found that the cracks on the exterior of the home was coming from the garage settling and that the best solution would be to install 2 Push Piers to stabilize the foundation and possibly lift and press the cracks back together. The Push Pier System utilize high- strength round steel tube sections and a load transfer bracket to stabilize and lift sinking and settling foundation. The foundation bracket is secured against the existing footing and pier sections are driven hydraulically through the foundation bracket and into the soil below using the combined structural weight and any contributory soil load as resistance. Pier sections are continuously driven until a suitable load bearing stratum is encountered. George is thrilled to know that his mother's home is not stabilized and without worry about future problems.
