Water Damage
Water was leaking into this customers basement at the wall floor joint that caused the bottom of the wall to rot.
Drainage Matting
To prevent flooding and pooling of water in the basement, drainage matting is installed on the basement floor. As a result, the water is able to drain easily into the drainage system so that it can be directed to a sump pump for disposal.
Preparing for Installation
The crew removed the water damaged wall and created a channel to install the drainage system and sump pump.
Installing Sump Pump
The WaterGuard Drainage System is connected to the TripleSafe Sump Pump. Water collected is then pumped out of the home through discharge lines on the exterior of the home.
Vapor Barrier
Once systems are in place, CleanSpace Vapor Barrier is installed over the wall and floor to prevent water from leaking through. Instead, it drains down the back side of the liner and into the drainage system.
Completed Installation
The crew seals the drainage system and levels the ground by pouring concrete over it.
