Our office was contacted by a Wilmington, NC homeowner seeking an estimate for a broken and uneven driveway. We arranged for a meeting with the homeowner and conducted a thorough inspection of the driveway. After assessing the damage, we provided the homeowner with a detailed estimate for the repair.
Poor soil conditions caused voids to form, which allowed the heavy slab to sink and become uneven. Using the PolyLevel System, the voids in the driveway were filled and the concrete was raised to a level position. PolyLevel stabilizes, lifts and levels concrete slabs with high-strength polyurethane foam. Pea-sized holes are drilled through the slab and foam is injected to fill the void underneath. Once stabilized, the NexusPro crack repair solution was used to repair concrete cracks and joints. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially engineered to provide long-lasting flexibility and stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, so it won't crack, bubble or dry.
Our solutions to broken and uneven concrete differ from traditional repair methods. It is more effective, takes less time to repair, dries quickly, is minimally disruptive, and does not require concrete replacement. In the end, the customer was extremely happy with the result of their driveway repairs and was delighted they didn't have to wait 24 hours or more to park their car.

Quick Drying Time

Uneven Concrete
Cracks in the driveway allowed for moisture to seep beneath the concrete. This softened and washed away the soil, creating voids and sinking concrete.
