Michael noticed a few cracks in the wall inside of his home. He contacted Southeast Foundation & received our expert opinion. The home was built in 1976 and the foundation was being supported by the classic *block and wood* method. Throughout the years the home started to settle and started showing signs of settlement on the interior and exterior. 

This customer's uneven floor was caused by moisture damage to the floor joists in the crawl space, so SmartJack Support Posts were installed to lift, level, and permanently stabilize the floor.

Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Justin Edwards met with Milton to go over the crawl space. Justin found that Milton's issues were coming from high moisture in the crawl space which had started to break down the wood. Our crew lead by Larry Eldridge installed the Smart Jack System to stabilize and raise the floors of the home along with installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to dry out and to keep moisture at bay which had cause the concerning issues, to begin with. Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair was able to help this homeowner with his sagging floors by installing the SmartJack System in the crawl space of his home in Nakina, NC. The floors were sagging due to the home's piers settling the no longer able to support the floor joist of the home. By installing the SmartJack System we are able to support the floors by installing a supplemental beam along with SmartJack that can hold 60,000 lbs.
