Installing SmartJacks to Fix Sagging Floors in Aberdeen, NC

Challenge

Anthony contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair because him and his wife had noticed that the floors in their home and started to sag and become unlevel over the years. They wanted a permanent solution to fix the issues with the floors. They had thought that is could be the sub-floor starting to give but when Southeast Foundation's inspector RJ Bailey met with Anthony he found that their issues were coming from failing piers that were allowing the floors to drop in the home.

Solution

RJ suggested that Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair install the SmartJack System in the crawl space to stabilize the floors and joist of the home and raise the floors back level. The SmartJack System had a rating of 60,000 lbs each allowing to transfer the weight of the home from the failing piers onto the SmartJacks. The SmartJacks are also adjustable to that we were able to not only stabilize the floors to raise the floors back level. Anthony and his wife are happy they chose Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair for their sagging floor needs.
