Settling Foundation Issues in Hampstead, NC

Challenge

Charles D. of Hampstead noticed the walls in his home had large cracks in it and his floors appeared to be sloping. He called Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair to get our expert opinion. We sent one of our expert System Design Specialists out to his home for a free inspection. 

Jeremie is the System Design Specialist who inspected the home. During the inspection, Jeremie could see the cracks in the walls that Charles was concerned about. The walls were sagging, the floors were sloping. This Hampstead home's foundation was definitely settling. In the crawl space, Jeremie noticed that mold spores were growing on the wood beams. A high moisture content was present.

After the inspection, Jeremie was able to show Charles exactly what was causing the foundation settlement, along with a few other issues that needed to be addressed quickly.
