Challenge

Jeffrey called Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair because he had standing water in the crawl space of the home and started to have interior wall cracks in the home. He wanted to know if the interior cracks where the first signs of a foundation issue or were caused by high moisture levels in the crawl space of the home.

Solution

Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair inspector Graham Moore met with Jeffrey to go over the crawl space and find out what was causing the issues in the crawl space. Graham found that the interior walls where starting to crack because the floor joist in the crawl space had started to rot and give away because of the high moisture levels in the crawl space. Graham recommended that we install a CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System along with SmartJacks to stablize the wood in the home. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System to dry out the crawl space and the wood to keep the wood from rotting futher and installed SmartJack System to stablize the home.
