Local Foundation Repair Contractor Joins Habitat For Humanity Builders Blitz

Clinton, NC.− Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair will help build five homes in one week as part of the Cape Fear Habitat For Humanity Home Builders Blitz from June 2 to 8, 2012. The homes are being built as part of The Cottages at Cornerstone, located at the Gideon Pointe complex in Wilmington.

Chris Hunter, owner of Southeast Foundation, has volunteered to help Habitat For Humanity for the past ten years, and he and his staff are excited to be participants in this project to make dreams come true for five families.

The team at Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair will install the CleanSpace Encapsulation system in all five houses which includes 20 mil liner, R-11 insulation board, smart pumps, and Everlast crawl space doors. They plan to help throughout the week with other work such as painting, hardware installation, and cleaning the interior.

In addition to Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair, six professional homebuilders will donate their time and labor to complete the project.

This year Cape Fear Habitat For Humanity is commemorating its 25th year helping families in their area become homeowners. With Blitz Build 2012 as a week-long ‘birthday party,’ they are kicking off the celebration with a June 1st Builder and Family Meet-and-Greet.

Cape Fear Habitat For Humanity has constructed more than 124 homes for families in need throughout New Hanover, Pender, and northeastern Brunswick counties. When complete, their first subdivision, The Cottages at Cornerstone, will be home to 32 families.
