Photo Album: Encapsulating a Crawl Space in Wilmington, NC

John contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair because he was interested in having an encapsulation system installed to help save some money on his heating and cooling costs, along with helping preserve his home from problems associated with moisture issues. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Maurice Robinson met with John to go over the crawl space of his home and gave him a free, no obligation estimate. Our crew lead by Larry Eldridge installed the CleanSpace Encapsualtion System. Larry and his crew started the project by removing John's old insulation between the floor joists. They then transitioned the insulation barrier to the foundation wall by installing the SilverGlo Insulation Panels. Next they wrapped all the piers with the liner and then laid the liner on the ground and fastened it to the walls with the CleanSpace Encapsulation Tape. After the liner was laid they installed the Sedona dehumidifier along with the SmartSump System to complete the project. John was highly impressed with the process that Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair took starting from the phone call, meeting the inspector, to the installation of the products in his crawl space.
