Emily contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after a home inspection due to selling her home that indicated that there were standing water issues at her Wilmington, NC home. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Maurice met with Emily to go over the crawl space to find the solution for her issues. Maurice found that the area in which the home sat is prone to flooding and a high water table content. The best solution would be to encapsulate the crawl space with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. The CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System is designed to block penetrating water from entering the crawl space. Our crew started the project by clearing any debris and leveling the ground. They then installed the CleanSpace Drainage Matting which would give the crawl space an extra layer of protection from the earth's ground. Next, they installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels on the foundation walls and installed the liner around the piers and the ground. Finally, they placed the Smart Sump Pump System along with the Sedona Dehumidifier in the crawl space to lower the relative humidity.
