1-910-299-0198During Hurricane Florence Anthony's crawl space flooded. There was falling insulation littering the crawl space floor along with an old vapor barrier system that had been destroyed during the rising waters. Anthony knew that he needed to have something done in the crawl space to prevent mold and other problems from forming in the crawl space.
Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Derek Moore met with Anthony to go over the crawl space to find the best solution to prevent the problems that he was worried about.
Our crew lead by Miguel installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. First, the crew started by removing the old, wet, and falling insulation along with the old vapor barrier. They also raked and leveled the area to make laying the liner a breeze. Next, they wrapped the crawl space piers along with outfitting the foundation walls with the SilverGlo Insulation Panels. By doing this process we are able to transfer the insulation barrier from the floor of the home to the outside making it a part of the homes ecosystem. They then installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation Liner on the ground of the crawl space and installed the Sedona Dehumidifier and the Smart Sump Sump Pump System. By installing the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System we are able to protect the home from moisture problems by lowering the humidity under 55% relative humidity.
