Sealing off a Crawl Space in Wilmington, NC

Claire contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after having new insulation and a dehumidifier installed in the crawl space of her home in Wilmington, NC. With the new insulation installed and dehumidifier that was not designed to be in a crawl space, the homeowner was already tired of having to crawl into the crawl space to turn back on the dehumidifier and realized that the newly installed insulation was already becoming moldy after such a short period of time. 

Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Jeremie Gunn met with Claire to go over the crawl space to find the best solution for her problems. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. They installed the 20 mil, CleanSpace Liner, along with replacing the already moldy insulation with SilverGlo Insulation Panels and outfitted the crawl space with a sump pump system along with the specially designed Sedona Dehumidifier.
