Will contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair on behalf of a local elementary school. The gym floor had started to warp in places and needed a solution to protect the floor of the gym. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Ben met with Will to go over the gym to find out what the issues were. Ben found that what was causing the gym floor to warp was moisture in the crawl space since there was no protection from the earth's ground and the best solution would be to encapsulate the crawl space under the gym floor. Our crew started the encapsulation process by removing any debris in the crawl space. Next, they installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels on the foundation walls. They then installed the CleanSpace Liner along with a dehumidifier and Smart Sump Sump Pump System to lower the moisture and humidity in the crawl space.
These business owners faced falling insulation, musty odors, damp floors, and wood rot in their crawl space. Our solution was to seal off the crawl space, install SilverGlo Insulation on the walls, and install the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System. This system ensures that the crawl space is completely sealed off from the outside environment, preventing any further moisture from entering the space. The SilverGlo Insulation helps to keep the space dry and warm, while the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System prevents condensation from forming, further protecting against wood rot and mold growth.
Mark contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair after glancing into the crawl space of his home and noticing that the was dark and damp with a musky smell. We where able to transform Mark's Crawl Space by installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. The CleanSpace System transformed this damp and musky crawl space into a great clean area that Mark plans to use as additional storage for their summer outdoor gear.
Samantha contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair concerned about high moisture levels after being told by her pest control company that she had a moisture issue. Southeast's inspector Justin Edwards met with Samantha to go over the crawl space of the home. Justin found that the crawl space had high humidity due to open vents and water vapor entering the crawl space from the earth's ground. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. By installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System we are able to lower the humidity by sealing off the crawl space from with elements like water and air and adding a dehumidifier to get out any moisture. Samantha is happy that she chose Southeast Foundation for her crawl space needs.
