Crawl Space Clean Up in Cordova, NC
Challenge
Kathleen in Cordova, NC was experiencing problems in the crawl space of her home after Hurricane Matthew hit North Carolina. The crawl space of her home had been flooded and the homeowner was continuously pumping water out of the crawl space. She was concerned with the after effects of the water in the crawl space such as foundation problem, falling insulation and mold issues.
Solution
Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair rescued Kathleen from her never ending water issues with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. Before the the crawl space encapsulation system was installed our crew installed a SaniDry CX to start drying out the crawl space. After a few days we returned to start installation of the CleanSpace Encapsulation System. We removed the old insulation between the floor joist, and installed our R11 rated SilverGlo. We also installed Drainage Matting below our 10 mil CleanSpace Liner to insure any water that would be trying to enter the crawl space from the ground could easily be diverted to the sump pump system and pumped out of the crawl space. Kathleen is happy that Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair came to her rescue with CleanSpace Encapsulation System.
