Fixing a Damp Crawl Space in Saint Pauls, NC

Challenge

Bryan contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair concerned about high moisture levels in the crawl space of his home in Saint Pauls, NC. The crawl space of the home had started the beginning signs of problematic wood problems caused by wet wood.

Solution

Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair inspector Ben Daniels met with Bryan to go over the crawl space of his home. Ben found the indeed the crawl space that the crawl space had started seeing wood damage. Ben suggested to Bryan that we install the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to prevent further damage to the wood.

Our crew lead by Pedro Mateo installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System using CleanSpace Drainage Matting which is placed directly under the liner allowing water that has entered the crawl space to drain directly to the sump pump system, CleanSpace Liner to protect from water entering the crawl space of the home, SilverGlo Insulation Panels to insulate the crawl space of the home, a SmartSump to pump out any water that makes it way into the crawl space under the liner, and a SaniDry Sedona to get any moisture out of the crawl space and dump directly into the sump pump system.
