Challenge

Charles contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair after living in the home for 11 years, he had noticed that he had a moisture issue after seeing and smelling mold within the crawl space.

Solution

Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair inspector RJ Bailey met with Charles to go over the crawl space of the home. RJ found that Charles did in fact have a moisture problem and their was mold growth on the wood of the home. RJ suggested that we install the CleanSpace Encapsulation System in the crawl space of the home.

Our crew lead by Pedro Mateo installed a fully equipped CleanSpace Encapsulation System with included CleanSpace Drainage Matting to prevent water from getting trapped between the ground and the liner, instead it would flow directly to the SmartSump System and pumped out of the crawl space of the home. They also installed the CleanSpace 10 mil Liner along the ground, and walls of the foundation and installed a SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier System to get any moisture from the crawl space of the home.

Charles is thrilled with the outcome of the work done by Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair.

BEFORE the crawl space of the home had not been equipped with a vapor barrier system to protect against water damage.

DURING the CleanSpace Drainage Matting placed onto of the earth's ground to direct water to the SmartSump sump pump system.

AFTER the CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed using the 10 mil CleanSpace Liner, SilverGlo, SmartSump and a SaniDry Sedona.
