Ruth contacted Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair after having her termite company install a sump pump and french drain system. She stated that nothing they did worked and wanted the issue fix properly. Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair inspector Justin Edwards met with Ruth to go over the best solution to fix the crawl space of her home. Justin found that the termite company did not place the sump in the lowest part of the crawl space rendering it useless and the french drain system was not properly installed. Justin recommended installed the EZ Flow System along with a CleanSpace Encapsulation System to protect the home against water. Our crew, led by Pedro Mateo, installed the EZ Flow system long the perimeter of the crawl space to protect the crawl space from water entering through the foundation walls. They also installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System, protecting the crawl space from outside water entering the crawl space from the ground or foundation walls. They also installed a new sump pump system in the lowest point of the home, so that if any water did enter the crawl space the sump pump would be in the point water natural flows to, along with placing a SaniDry Sedona to ensure that the crawl space is free from any moisture issues.
