Ben contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after receiving an estimate to have new hardwood floors installed and was unable to because of sloping floors. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Justin Edwards met with Ben and found that he had extensive damage caused by high moisture levels that needed to be addressed in order to have the floors lifted and stabilized in order to have the news hardwood floors installed. Pedro and his crew started off by encapsulating the crawl space of the home by installing the 20 mil CleanSpace Liner to seal off the crawl space. Next, they put up SilverGlo Insulation Panels to trap in the warm air in the winter and cool air in the summer to help save on energy costs, then they installed the SmartSump and Sedona Dehumidifier to dry out the crawl space. After completing the CleanSpace Encapsulation the crew installed 12 SmartJacks and Supplemental Beams to lift, level and stabilize the floors of the home.
