Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Replacing a Flooded Encapsulation in Wilmington, NC

Cheri contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair after Hurricane Florence. During the Hurricane, their home flooded along with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation that Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair did a few years before. They were so impressed with the encapsulation the first time around they knew that they wanted to crawl space re- encapsulated again. Our crew started the new installation by ripping the old encapsulation out of the crawl space, next they installed the SilverGlo Installation Panels on the foundation walls, next they sealed the crawl space with the CleanSpace Liner, finally they installed a new Sedona Dehumifier along with a new SmartSump sump pump system. Cheri and her family are extremely pleased with the work that Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair completed.

After the Storm

After having the crawl space flooded during Hurricane Florence, Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair help a previous customer revive and clean her crawl space.

Continuous Air and Moisture Barrier

By installing the CleanSpace Liner over the foundation walls and floor we are able to create a continuous air and moisture barrier.

Creating a Moisture Barrier

The CleanSpace Encapsulation System creates a water barrier from the element water from being sucked up into the wood and insulation in the crawl space.

Nice and Bright Crawl Space

A completed CleanSpace Encapsulation System should make the crawl space nice and bright, providing excellent coverage against water vapor entering the crawl space.

Lower Relative Humidity

By sealing off the crawl space of the home we are able to prevent mold and mildew growth by lowering the humidity to under 55% relative humidity.
