Betty contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space after a termite inspection, they told her that she had the first signs of wood rot and that it needed to be addressed. They offered to do a simple vapor barrier but she wanted a professional opinion of someone who does vapor barrier and encapsulation every day. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation along with the Smart Jack system. The CleanSpace Encapsulation System was installed to get rid of the moisture that had caused the wood rot and to prevent it from spreading to the wood that had not yet rotted. The Smart Jack was placed along with a supplemental beam to support and stabilize the home where the wood had rotted.
