Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Getting Rid of Sagging Floors with Smart Jacks and CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation in Shallotte, NC

Thomas contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair concerned with moisture problems with falling insulation in the crawl space due to high moisture levels at his Shallotte, NC home. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Glenn met with Thomas to go over the crawl space. Glenn found that even though the crawl space had a vapor barrier system installed. The vapor barrier that was installed did not seal the crawl space from around the foundation walls and the piers of the crawl space. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. They start the encapsulating the crawl space first by clearing the area from debris and the old hanging insulation. Next, they installed the SilverGlo Insulation Panels around the foundation walls. The new SilverGlo Insulation Panels have an R-11 rating. Next they wrapped the piers with the CleanSpace Liner along with installing the liner on the ground. They then installed the Sedona Dehumidifier and the Smart Sump Sump Pump System. By installing the dehumidifier and Sump Pump System we are able to lower the humidity to under 55%. Thomas loves his transformed and dry crawl space.
