Justin found that the crawl space had a vapor barrier and dehumidifier installed, however, due to the fact that the vapor barrier did not completely seal the crawl space, the dehumidifier was unable to lower the moisture content and humidity. The team at Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair removed the old vapor barrier. Next, they installed the SilverGlo insulation to the foundation walls. The SilverGlo insulation is a better choice for insulation in the crawl space due to the fact that the SilverGlo insulation sheds water and does not absorb it. The crew then installed the CleanSpace Liner on the ground and around the pier. They then installed a sump pump system and hooked up the old dehumidifier to the system.
