Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Flooded Crawl Space Gets A Makeover in Warsaw, NC
A Warsaw, NC homeowner contacted our office looking for a permanent solution to fix their flooded crawl space issues. A free, crawl space repair inspection and quote was scheduled with inspector Matthew D to assess the damages.
Matthew discovered soaked, soggy insulation on the crawl space floor. He also discovered rotted wood joists, puddles of water in various crawl space corners, condensation on the HVAC ducts, and mold growth throughout the crawl space. When finished, Matthew proposed the most effective solution that would rid the crawl space of all water, mold, condensation, and high humidity issues permanently. Having heard what Matthew said, the homeowner was eager to get the work done.
Ultimately, our crew installed a CleanSpace Crawl Space Vapor Barrier System, a SmartSump Pump System, Drainage Matting, SilverGlo Insulation, applied a mold treatment, and installed a SaniDry Dehumidifier to permanently repair the crawl space and solve all the water issues.
During the installation, Rayford F. and the production crew removed and disposed of the soggy insulation and other debris first. The crawl space was then treated for mold. A sump hole was dug for the SmartSump Pump System. To provide a thermal break and drainage space below the vapor barrier, drainage mats were applied throughout the crawl space. Installed SilverGlo Wall Insulation on the crawl space walls, and CleanSpace Vapor Barrier over the crawl space piers and floor. Afterwards, the crew installed the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity levels low and the air dry in the crawl space.

The soggy debris is removed and the crawl space was treated for mold growth. CleanSpace fastened to the floor to prevent ground seepage, pest, insects, or mold growth.
A condensation pump will remove the water collected into the dehumidifier and drain to the SmartSump Pump System. Any way that is collected from the crawl space will be removed through the discharge line and carried at a safe distance away from the home.
