Moisture Intrusion
Mold and structural damage were caused by excessive moisture in this crawl space. The insulation fell off the ceiling, and pools of water formed on the dirt floor.
Inadequate Support Pier
The support piers in this crawl space were not suitable to stabilize the floor above and needed to be replaced with a permanent solution, SmartJack Posts.
Rotting Wood
The floor joists rotted from moisture damage and termites, which weakened the floor above, causing it to sag.
New Crawl Space Support System
Our crew installed steel supplemental beams with our SmartJack Support System to replace the existing support system to provide permanent stabilization and level the floor above.
Dehumidification with the SaniDry Sedona
Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
Additional Support Posts
This crawl space project required out crew to install several SmartJacks throughout the space to replace the existing failing piers. As a result, the floor above is now level and the structure is permanently stabilized.
Crawl Space Insualtion
SilverGlo is permanently fastened to the crawl space walls to provide adequate insulation while it also prevents moisture from seeping into the crawl space through the walls.

Our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System is permanently installed throughout the crawl space. This durable, bright white crawl space liner installs on the walls and floors, preventing water vapor and humidity from passing through. By keeping the crawl space dry, this protects the structure and insulation from mold and rot.
