Performing Flooring Stabilization in Fayetteville, NC

Leann, of Fayetteville, NC, couldn’t ignore the feeling of sloping she had recently begun to feel in her flooring as she walked through her home. Worried about it for some time, she walked outside and saw visible cracking on the exterior of her home. She became even more concerned. In order to find a solution, Leann called Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair.

Christopher Reeves the owner of Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair met with Leann to perform the inspection on Leann’s home. Chris observed the sloping of the floors inside the home, and after a careful inspection of the crawl space, recommended that Team Southeast perform a Smart Jack installation to stabilize the homeowner’s flooring. Our Smart Jack technology would provide just the support that Leann would need to fix her home structurally.

Solution

Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair performed the Smart Jack installation, they prepped their work area and prepared to begin. Our Smart Jack from Supportworks stabilizes and lifts existing beams and floor joists in a crawl space. Each individual Smart Jack provides a solid base of galvanized, engineered steel which addresses the issue of instability, while heavy-duty threaded rods allow for annual adjustment as well as a custom fit for any area of a crawl space, adding support where needed.

We installed the 5 Smart Jacks where indicated to provide the best support possible underneath Leann’s home.
