Sutton Crawlspace and Foundation Repair

Challenge

Mr. Sutton contacted our office concerned with foundation settlement issues consiting of exterior cracks and flooring issues.

Solution

Inspector Mr. Patrick Hannigan met with Mr. Sutton concerning the foundation issues on his home. Mr. Hannigan's inspection revealed exterior foundation wall cracks, settlement with old brick piers under the home, moisture issues in the crawlspace, high humidity, and an old sump pump which was no longer in use in the basement section of the home. Our cleanspace crew installed for the home owner a new sump pump with waterguard system for the basement, and a cleanspace vapor barrier system consisting of 10 mil liner, sani dry dehumidifier, sealing all air vents, and a smart sump for the crawlspace. Our foundation crew installed push piers for the exterior foundation wall cracks to help prevent further settlement and smart jacks with steel beam for the flooring issues in the crawspace. Mr. Sutton is very happy with the results of his project and is looking forward to his home which he feels has been made Brand New!!
