Crawl Space Products Photo Album: Crawl Space Humidity and Moisture Control in Whispering Pines, NC

This Whispering Pines, NC homeowner struggled with high humidity levels and moisture in their crawl space. Luis Cruz, our System Design Specialist, performed a thorough inspection of the crawl space and found a tattered vapor barrier and a dehumidifier that were not functioning properly. In order to eliminate musty odors and high humidity levels, Luis recommended our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System in combination with our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier. The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System was installed to create a barrier between the crawl space and the air outside, while the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was used to absorb excess moisture from the air. The homeowner was very pleased with the outcome, as the crawl space was completely dry and free of musty odors.

New Door

In order to prevent moisture and critters from entering the crawl space, a new EverLast Crawl Space door was installed. This custom-sized door is made of rust-resistant material, so rotting and rusting will not be an issue!

Faulty Dehumidifier

Moisture caused the parts of this dehumidifier to rust, and it could no longer function.

Old Vapor Barrier

As a result of the previous vapor barrier not performing well, moisture and humidity leaked into the crawl space.
