Shanley contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair about a musty smell that she was having in her home in Carthage, NC.

SEFR scheduled one of our design specialist,  Mr. Todd to go out and do an inspection of the Crawl Space. Upon Todd's inspection  he found that she had a moisture issue and that is what was causing the musty smell in her home. After speaking with Shanley showing her the condition of her crawl space, Todd proposed a partial encapsulation to help with her home repair needs.

This crawl space in Whispering Pines, NC had problems with moisture and condensation from the HVAC system. Our crew encapsulated the crawlspace making the crawlspace more like the rest of the home eliminating the condensation.

Drainage matting will prevent water from pooling under the vapor barrier liner as it creates a channel for adequate groundwater drainage.
