This homeowner contacted our office with concerns about floor separating in their master bedroom. After assessing the area, we determined the most effective solution was our SmartJack System. The SmartJack support system is designed to address floor sagging and separation by providing additional support to the existing beams. By installing SmartJacks, the system will help lift and stabilize the floor, reducing the warping and separation issues in the master bedroom and bathroom. The supplemental beam and SmartJacks work together to reinforce the structure, ensuring a more stable and level floor.

The primary cause of foundation settlement after a home is soil changes around it. In addition to poorly compacted fill soils, extreme moisture changes, such as droughts and over saturation, can cause soil movement. As a result, your home shifts and settles, causing cracked walls, uneven floors, and sinking foundations. Helical piers were installed to permanently stabilize and lift the sunken foundation of the home.
