Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Homeowners in Sunset Beach, NC, were facing a common dilemma—sloping floors above their crawl space, signaling underlying issues that couldn't be ignored. As you can see in the before photo, the initial crawl space condition contributed directly to their problem. By installing SmartJack, as illustrated in the after photo, we effectively stabilized the flooring, restoring peace of mind and the structural integrity of their home. Our Foundation Helical Pier System was installed to lift and stabilize this customers sinking foundation. 

As a result of damage to the crawl space supports, the floor above began to sag. The floor above was stabilized and leveled by installing a steel supplemental beam and SmartJack support posts. The steel beam was placed in the crawl space and was bolted to the existing floor joists to help support them. The SmartJack support posts were then attached to the steel beam and adjusted to stabilize and level the floor above.

We installed our SmartJack Support System in this crawl space of a customer to lift and level the floor that had sunk into the ground due to inadequate support. With the SmartJacks in place, the floor is leveled and the home is secure!  

Blake contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair because he had noticed a slight slop in the floors of his home in Oak Island, NC. Our inspector Ben Daniels met with Blake to go over the problems that he was experiencing. Ben found that due to moisture issues in the crawl space that the slop in the floor was caused by degenration in the moisture wood and the best solution would be to install the Smart Jack Stablazation System along with a CleanSpace Vapor Barrier to keep moisture out of the crawl space.
