Ms. Cheryl is extremely satisfied that she had Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair come out and help protect her American dream.
Cheryl contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair because the floors of her home had started to sag. As an older home built in the 1970's, the home had never had a vapor barrier installed, which caused the wood in the crawl space to become soft and start to sag. Our crew installed the CleanSpace Encapsulation System to seal off the crawl space, along with the Sedona Dehumidifier to get rid of any water in the crawl space. We also installed the Smart Jack System to raise the floors back level in the home. Cheryl is happy that Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair was able to help her save the crawl space of her home.
Homeowners in Sunset Beach, NC, were facing a common dilemma—sloping floors above their crawl space, signaling underlying issues that couldn't be ignored. As you can see in the before photo, the initial crawl space condition contributed directly to their problem. Acknowledging the need for a steadfast and lasting solution, they turned to us, Southeast Foundation and Crawl Space Repair. By installing SmartJack, as illustrated in the after photo, we effectively stabilized the flooring, restoring peace of mind and the structural integrity of their home. Through this transformation, we demonstrated once again our commitment to remarkable customer experiences and durable results.
Our Foundation Helical Pier System was installed to lift and stabilize this customers sinking foundation.
As a result of damage to the crawl space supports, the floor above began to sag. The floor above was stabilized and leveled by installing a steel supplemental beam and SmartJack support posts. The steel beam was placed in the crawl space and was bolted to the existing floor joists to help support them. The SmartJack support posts were then attached to the steel beam and adjusted to stabilize and level the floor above.
