John contacted Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair considered with moisture issues in the crawl space of his home after a pipe burst. Over time he had noticed that the floors were not level and the doors would stick. Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair inspector Maurice met with John to go over the crawl space and to find the best solution for his issues. Maurice found that most of John's problems where actually coming from the earth's ground and the best solution would be to encapsulate the crawl space with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. By sealing off the crawl space with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System, Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair can help the homeowner keep the crawl space dry prevent mold and mildew issues. John is thrilled with the work that Southeast Foundation & Crawl Space Repair completed.
There was a high level of moisture in this crawl space, and it was seeping into the upper levels of the customer's home. The problem was solved by installing CleanSpace vapor barrier, SilverGlo crawl space insulation, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier.
Mold and mildew are common in crawl spaces, but the Sedona keeps the relative humidity below 55%, so mold won't stand a chance. As a high-efficiency dehumidifier, the Sedona removes more moisture (100 pints per day) for less electricity cost than conventional models.
Mold and musty odors were caused by water intrusion in this customer's crawl space. In order to solve that problem, we encapsulated the crawl space with our CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System.
On the crawl space wall, SilverGlo insulation was installed to insulate the space and prevent moisture from leaking through.
